Newly Elected CM Sindh Assumes Duties

KARACHI: Newly elected Sindh Chief Minister Sayed Murad Ali Shah has reached at the Chief Minister House where he was presented with a guard of honour, local media reported on Wednesday.

In a statement, Chief Minister House spokesperson said that Chief Minister Murad Ali Shah reached the official residence of the chief executive of the province at around 7:45 am. Sindh Chief Secretary Dr Fakhre Alam, provincial secretaries, Inspector General Police Riffat Mukhtar, and other high-level officers received Murad Ali Shah on his arrival at the CM House. Murad Ali Shah received the solute from the police cops before assuming his office.

Meanwhile, the Chief Minister also held separate meetings with the Chief Secretary and the IG police Sindh. The Chief Minister chaired a meeting about the law-and-order situation in the province, the statement further said.
