ISLAMABAD: Following several months of sharing glimpses into their friendship on social media, the Bates Motel star Nicola Peltz Beckham made it clear how she and Selena Gomez became best friends rather quickly last fall.
Nicola, 28, told Cosmopolitan in a March 14 interview that she met Selena once in passing a few years ago, and then they went to this event in September, the Academy Gala, and they just clicked and had the best time. They became extremely close after that. She described herself as her soul sister.

As Nicola, who has a matching “angel” tattoo with Selena, 30, shared, she’s truly one of the most amazing people she’s ever met in her entire life.
She went on to say that she thinks it’s really beautiful to have girlfriends who cheer you on.
Nicola added that if I am just walking down the street and a girl says, ‘Oh my gosh, I love your outfit,’ it means a lot more than if a guy says it. So, ew, whatever. It’s much more special when a girl compliments you.
And, as evidenced by their Instagram posts, Selena and Nicola’s love grows stronger by the day. Apart from birthday greetings and matching tattoos, there have also been picture-perfect sleepovers and getaways to prove it.
In fact, Nicola recently posted a photo of the two out to dinner on Instagram, captioning it, “I love this girl so much @selenagomez angel sister.”
Selena openly shared Nicola’s sentiment, commenting, “Angel sisters for life!”
