PYONGYANG: North Korea has slammed the United States for providing long-range missiles to Ukraine, state media KCNA reported on Monday, quoting a defence ministry a statement.
A US official on April 24 said that Washington secretly shipped long-range missiles to Ukraine to be used un war against Russia.
On April 28, the director of the Department of Foreign Military Affairs of North Korea’s Ministry of National Defence was quoted as saying the US has secretly transferred long-range missiles to Ukraine, sparking off concern of the global community.
He was confident that the US can never defeat the heroic Russian army and people with any latest arms or military support.
Defence ties between Pyongyang and Moscow are growing, which the US and its allies see as the reason for mounting tensions in the Korean Peninsula.
