ISLAMABD: After a legal dispute between major journalistic groups in National Press Club (NPC) Islamabad, the year’s election was held on Wednesday at the NPC premises.
Usually, the elections of NPC are organized between December and January every year.
However, the delay occurred due to some reservations by some journalistic groups over claims of fake members of NPC.
However, the leading group (Journalist Pannel) believed these matters should be resolved with consensus.
But the Azad group and some other minor groups went to the court. As a result, the routine business of NPC suffered.
The election was held on Wednesday when journalists from different groups participated actively.
