JEDDAH: The Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) has strongly condemned the successive massacres and crimes committed by the Israeli occupation against the innocent Palestinian people. The latest of these atrocities was the heinous massacre at UNRWA-affiliated Tal al-Zaatar and al-Fakhoura schools in the northern Gaza Strip, resulting in the tragic loss of hundreds of lives, including displaced children and women, OIC said in a statement on Sunday.
In a statement, the OIC decried the Israeli occupation’s actions, particularly the attack on the Al-Shifa Medical Complex, where citizens, the sick, wounded, and medical staff were forcibly evacuated, and the facility was turned into a closed military barracks. The OIC characterized these acts as part of an ongoing pattern of ethnic cleansing and genocide perpetrated by the Israeli occupation army against the Palestinian people in Gaza.
OIC Condemns Targeting of Residential Building by Israeli Warplanes
The organization further condemned the targeting of a residential building in Balata Camp, east of the city of Nablus, by Israeli warplanes, resulting in the tragic death of five individuals and numerous injuries among Palestinians.
The OIC denounced these actions as flagrant violations of international humanitarian law, expressing concern over the escalating attacks and organized terrorism carried out by Israeli forces and extremist settler groups.

The OIC warned of the dangerous escalation of violence, highlighting the killing of over two hundred Palestinian citizens in the West Bank since October 7th. The organization renewed its call to the international community, particularly the UN Security Council, urging them to fulfill their responsibilities by demanding an immediate and comprehensive halt to the brutal Israeli aggression against the Palestinian people.
