RAWALPINDI: Major General Matar bin Salim bin Rashid Al-Balushi, Commander Royal Army of Oman, called on Pakistan’s Army Chief General Syed Asim Munir at General Headquarters on Monday, the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) said in a statement.
During the meeting, matters of mutual interest and regional situation were discussed, the ISPR statement read.
The visiting dignitary commended the Pakistan Army for its significant achievements in the fight against terrorism and its unwavering commitment to regional peace and stability.
Earlier on arrival at GHQ, Commander Royal Army of Oman laid a floral wreath at Yadgar-e-Shuhada. A smartly turned-out contingent of the Pakistan Army presented the guard of honour to the visiting dignitary.
