PESHAWAR: Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam-Fazl (JUI-F) Chief Maulana Fazalur Rehman and Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) senior leader Asad Qaiser have agreed to continue dialogue regarding the country’s political landscape.

However, Maulana Fazlur Rehman, in a telephonic conversation, expressed concerns over the lack of addressing reservations raised in previous meetings, stating that they must be resolved before moving forward. He also emphasized the importance of ongoing communication.

The leaders discussed Pakistan’s current political situation and exchanged Eid-ul-Fitr greetings during the conversation.

Expressing regret over inappropriate slogans raised at the Pishin public gathering, Qaiser emphasized the importance of maintaining cordial relations between their parties.

Qaiser also expressed PTI’s interest in broadening discussions with JUI-F. Maulana Fazlur Rehman acknowledged the necessity for ongoing dialogue to resolve differences between the two parties. While currently abroad, Qaiser pledged to strategize solutions upon his return to Pakistan.

Previously, on April 4, PTI Chairman Barrister Gohar Ali Khan hinted at PTI’s potential participation in a sit-in led by Maulana Fazlur Rehman’s JUI-F against the government.

Barrister Gohar emphasized the aim of the opposition’s protest to reinforce parliament and protest against alleged mandate theft, aiming to prevent future incidents of electoral misconduct.
