Pakistan Army’s Martyred Officers, Soldiers Laid to Rest with Full Military Honour

RAWALPINDI: The brave officers and soldiers of the Pakistan Army who embraced martyrdom in a terrorist attack in the Mir Ali area of North Waziristan district of northwestern Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province on Saturday were laid to rest in their respective native areas with full military honour, the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) said in a press release on Sunday.

Lieutenant Colonel Syed Kashif Ali Shaheed (age 39 years, resident of Karachi), Captain Muhammad Ahmad Badr Shaheed (age 23 years, resident of Talagang district), Havaldar Sabir Shaheed (age 39 years, resident of Khyber district), Naik Khurshid Shaheed (age 30 years, resident of Laki Marwat district), Sepoy Nasir Shaheed (age 29 years, resident of Peshawar district), Sepoy Raja Shaheed (age 28 years, resident of Kohat district) And Sepoy Sajid Shaheed (age 25 years, resident of Abbottabad) were laid to rest in their native areas with full military honours, according to ISPR.

The funeral prayer was attended by the families of the martyrs, relatives, officers of the Pakistan Army, elders of the area and a large number of people, the military media wing said in a statement.

Sacrifices Strengthen Pakistan Army’s Resolve to Eliminate Terrorism

It said that these sacrifices of the brave soldiers of the Pakistan Army strengthen our resolve in the war against terrorism.

This war will continue until the end of the scourge of terrorism from the motherland, it added.
