Pakistan Army’s Martyred Soldiers Laid to Rest with Full Military Honours

PESHAWAR: Funeral prayers of three soldiers of the Pakistan Army, who embraced martyrdom while bravely fighting against terrorists in the Tirah Valley area of Khyber district of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province, were offered in their hometowns.

On Monday, Lieutenant Colonel Muhammad Hassan Haider (age 42 years, resident of DHA-2, Islamabad), Naik Khushdil Khan (age 31 years, resident of Lakki Marwat district), Naik Rafique Khan (age 27 years, resident of Charsadda district), and Lance Naik Abdul Qadir (age 33 years, resident of Murree district), embraced martyrdom during an intelligence-based operation against terrorists in the Tirah Valley of Khyber district.

The martyred soldiers of the Pakistan Army were laid to rest with full military honours. A large number of Pakistan Army officers, soldiers, relatives, and local people participated in the funeral prayers of the martyrs in their respective hometowns.

Meanwhile, the funeral prayer of Lieutenant Colonel Muhammad Hassan Haider was offered at Chaklala Garrison in Rawalpindi. The martyred officer of the Pakistan Army was laid to rest with full military honour at Islamabad.

Prime Minister of Pakistan Anwaar-ul-Haq Kakar, Defense Minister Lieutenant General (retired) Anwar Ali Hyder, Chairman Joint Chiefs of Staff Committee (CJCSC) General Sahir Shamshad Mirza, Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Syed Asim Munir and a large number of senior civil and military officers, soldiers, citizens and relatives of the martyr attended the funeral prayer.

Pakistan’s Armed Forces stand resolute and committed to eliminating the menace of terrorism from the motherland at all costs.
