LAHORE: Pakistan is scheduled to embark a tour to Australia in November of the current year. The series, marking the commencement of Australia’s white-ball season for the summer of 2024-25, will consist of six matches in total – three ODIs and three T20Is – spread across 6 venues from November 4th to November 18th in the current year.

This visit to Australia by Pakistan comes after an absence of nearly 11 months, following their participation in the Benaud-Qadir Trophy, a series of three Test matches held across, Sydney, Perth and Melbourne in 2023-24.

The Dettol Men’s ODI series, comprising three matches, will kick off on November 4th at the renowned Melbourne Cricket Ground. Subsequent matches will take place in Adelaide and Perth on November 8th and 10th, respectively. Pakistan’s last ODI series in Australia was in 2016, ending with the home team’s victory.

Following the ODIs, the focus will shift to the Dettol Men’s T20I Series, also featuring three matches. The series opener will be held at The Gabba in Brisbane, followed by matches at the Sydney Cricket Ground and Hobart on subsequent dates. Pakistan’s most recent T20I appearance in Australia was in 2022 during the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup, where they reached the final.
