Pakistan Cricket Team in Ireland for T20I Series Ahead of World Cup

LAHORE: The Pakistan cricket team departed for Ireland on Monday night for the two T20I series ahead of the ICC T20I World Cup, first with Ireland and then with England.

The team, led by the skipper Babar Azam, flew off to Ireland from the Allama Iqbal International Airport, Lahore, where acting Punjab governor Muhammad Ahmed Khan saw the team off at the airport and wished the green shirts all the success in both the series and the World Cup.

Pacer Muhammad Amir could not accompany the team due to visa delay and would join the green shirts shortly.

In Ireland, Pakistan would play three T20 matches starting on May 10 with the following dates and venues.

Ireland Series

May 10: First T20I at Clontarf

May 12: Second T20I at Clontarf

May 14: Third T20I at Clontarf

After the Ireland series, the green shirts will depart for England to play four matches starting on May 22.

Tour of England

May 22: First T20I at Leeds

May 25: Second T20I at Birmingham

May 28: Third T20I at Cardiff

May 30: Fourth T20I at The Oval

Later the Team would depart for the USA to take part in the ICC t20 World Cup.
