Pakistan Discusses Opportunities for its Professionals in Saudi Arabia

ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Prime Minister’s Special Assistant on Overseas Pakistanis and Human Resource Development, Jawad Sohrab Malik, explored opportunities for increased participation of Pakistani professionals in upcoming projects in Saudi Arabia, during his visit to Maharah Human Resource, the largest human resource company of the Kingdom.

During the meeting with CEO Abdulaziz Alkathiry, Malik explored the potential of leveraging skilled Pakistani manpower and deliberated on the prospects of involving more Pakistani professionals in forthcoming projects in Saudi Arabia.

Pakistan’s Commitment to Saudi Arabia’s Workforce Development

He was accompanied by the Ambassador of Pakistan to Saudi Arabia, Ahmad Farooq, Director General BEOE, Joint Secretary Emigration, and Community Welfare Attachés.

During the visit, Malik engaged in talks with Maharah Human Resource management, focusing on the availability of a competent Pakistani workforce and identifying opportunities to deploy additional Pakistani professionals in upcoming Saudi projects.

Highlighting the enduring historical ties between Pakistan and Saudi Arabia, Malik underscored the Pakistani government’s commitment to providing skilled labor to Saudi Arabia.

The leadership of Maharah Human Resource acknowledged and praised the initiatives of the Pakistani government, committing to actively consider hiring more Pakistani workers for upcoming projects.
