Pakistan, Kuwait to Sign Seven MoUs Worth $10 Billion Across Various Sectors

ISLAMABAD: Pakistan and Kuwait will ink heavy investment Memorandums of Understanding (MoUs) worth $10 billion during the upcoming visit of Caretaker Prime Minister Anwaar-ul-Haq Kakar to Kuwait.

The federal cabinet, in its Friday meeting, approved these seven MoUs, covering various sectors such as environment, mining, and food security.

The Special Investment Facilitation Council (SIFC) played a crucial role in facilitating these agreements, which include projects related to water reservoir expansion, mining facilities, mangrove forest conservation in coastal areas, information technology, and food security.

The cabinet expressed appreciation for the SIFC’s efforts, and Prime Minister Kakar emphasized cooperation with provinces for the timely and fair execution of the projects.
