Pakistan, Lebanon Agree to Strengthen Bilateral Ties

ISLAMABAD: Pakistan’s Caretaker Prime Minister Anwaar-ul-Haq Kakar on Tuesday met with Lebanese Prime Minister Najib Mikati on the sidelines of the World Economic Forum (WEF) annual summit 2024 in Davos.

During the meeting, the two leaders discussed the overall situation in the region and reiterated their resolve to strengthen the bilateral ties.

They also expressed serious concerns over the atrocities committed by the Israeli forces on innocent Palestinians, particularly children and women.

PM Kakar is attending the 54th annual meeting of the World Economic Forum (WEF) in Davos, Switzerland.

He also held meetings with Sri Lankan President Ranil Wickremesinghe and discussed bilateral relations with him.

During the meeting, both leaders discussed ways to promote trade and investment between the two nations.
