LAHORE: Renowned and legendary Pakistani actor Afzaal Ahmad passed away here on Friday after fighting with the prolonged disease.
Legendary Actor Afzaal Ahmed on Thursday suffered from a brain hemorrhage and was shifted to Lahore’s General Hospital in critical condition but he could not survnst the disease.
The hospital administration confirmed actor’s death on Friday.
Filmy Career of Legendary Actor Afzaal Ahmed
Afzaal Ahmad, was born in Jhang city of Punjab Province in Pakistan, and initiated his acting career in the period of 1970s with the famous movie “Dhiyan Namanian.”
Ahmed was renowned for his outstanding and brilliant acting performances in movies, television dramas and theater plays as he also had been the owner of Tamaseel Theater located in Lahore.
Its well-known movies of Ahmed are 1977 release “Aakhri Muqabala, and 1981 release ‘Jatt in London,’ ‘Sharif Badmaash’, ‘Chen Wariam,’ ‘Vahshi Jutt’ and ‘Revenge of Oppression,’ which were included in a golden history of the Film Industry.
According to the family sources, the funeral prayers of the Legendary Afzaal Ahmed will be held tomorrow (Saturday). – APP
