Weather Update: Pakistan Likely to Experience Cold, Dry Weather

ISLAMABAD: In the upcoming 12 hours, most parts of the country anticipate predominantly cold and dry weather, with notably frigid conditions expected in the northern regions and northern Balochistan.

Expect persistent dense fog and smog across the plains of Punjab, with potential occurrences in the plain areas of Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa and upper Sindh during the forecast period. Additionally, frost might form in select spots within the Pothohar region and Kashmir during the morning hours.

Here are the morning temperature recordings for major cities: Islamabad at five degrees Celsius, Lahore at ten, Karachi at nineteen, Peshawar at seven, Quetta at two, Gilgit at minus three, and both Murree and Muzaffarabad at four degrees Celsius.

The weather forecast for Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir indicates an expectation of very cold and dry weather in Srinagar, Leh, Pulwama, Anantnag, Shopian, and Baramula. Meanwhile, Jammu should prepare for cold and dry conditions along with dense fog.

Morning temperature recordings in these areas were as follows: Srinagar and Shopian at one degree Celsius, Jammu at nine, Leh at minus eight, Pulwama at zero, and Anantnag and Baramula at two degrees Celsius.
