Pakistan Minister Vows to Eliminate Terrorists After 7 Labourers Shot dead in Balochistan

ISLAMABAD: Federal Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi strongly condemned the terrorist attack in Gwadar on Thursday.  Naqvi expressed deep sorrow and grief over the tragic loss of seven lives in this terrible incident. He extended his heartfelt sympathies and condolences to the families of the victims, saying that the government shares their grief and stands in solidarity with them during this difficult time.

In his message, he said that the beasts who play with the lives of innocent citizens do not deserve to be called human beings. He said, “We remain steadfast in our commitment to eradicating the scourge of terrorism.”

Meanwhile, police said that unknown gunmen killed seven people in Sarbandar area of Gwadar, Balochistan today. Gwadar SHO Mohsin Ali told the media that unidentified attackers opened gunfire near the Fish Harbour residential quarters, killing 7 people and wounding another.

The police official said that the victims were barbers by profession and worked in a shop in the area. He said that all victims belonged to Khanewal. After the attack, a police party rushed to sport and cordoned off the entire area.

The dead bodies have been transferred to a morgue for autopsy and the wounded to the Gwadar Hospital for medical treatment. Police said that a case has been registered against the unidentified attackers and an investigation is underway to arrest the culprits.
