Pakistan Navy Kicks Off Sea Spark 2024 Exercise to Combat Readiness

RAWALPINDI: The Pakistan Navy kicked off Sea Spark 2024 exercise in Karachi on Thursday, said Pakistan Army media affairs wing ISPR in a statement.

The ceremony was graced by Chief of the Naval Staff, Admiral Naveed Ashraf, who was the special guest.  The inauguration ceremony was attended by Federal Ministries such as Defense, Foreign Affairs, Law, and the National Security Division, alongside a significant presence of officers from the Armed Forces.

During the event, Admiral Naveed Ashraf received a comprehensive briefing on the exercise’s objectives, purposes, and practical aspects.

Sea Spark 2024 is designed to incorporate all combat assets of the Pakistan Navy, including surface, subsurface, air, and special forces. Moreover, it will involve participation from the Pakistan Maritime Security Agency, Special Forces, and Pakistan Marines.

The primary objective of Sea Spark 2024 is to thoroughly assess the operational readiness and warfighting capabilities of the Pakistan Navy across diverse domains and scenarios. The exercise aims to bolster coordination and interoperability among the three services and other relevant stakeholders.

The exercise will further strengthen Pakistan’s determination to maintain peace and security in the region, said ISPR.

Through Sea Spark 2024, the Pakistan Navy aims to showcase its dedication to safeguarding the nation’s maritime interests, contributing substantively to the promotion of peace and stability in the region.
