Pakistan Play Tajikistan in 2026 FIFA World Cup Qualifiers Today

ISLAMABAD: Pakistan is all set to host Tajikistan in their next match in the 2026 FIFA World Cup Qualifiers at Jinnah Stadium here Today (Tuesday) at 2 pm PST.

Pakistan men’s football team has arrived here after playing their recent match against Saudi Arabia in Al-Hasa as part of the FIFA WC qualifiers. Despite a 0-4 loss to Saudi Arabia, the Men in Green is all set for their upcoming clash with Tajikistan on Tuesday.

The clash against Saudi Arabia saw Pakistan trailing 0-1 at half-time but later conceding three more goals in the second half. The Saudi team, ranked 57th in FIFA World Rankings, dominated with 77% possession, while Pakistan holds the 193rd rank.

Pakistan’s forward Otis Khan, a Grimsby Town forward, recently gained FIFA approval to represent Pakistan, providing evidence of his eligibility based on ancestry. The game marks the second match of the second round of the World Cup qualifiers.
