ISLAMABAD: Caretaker Prime Minister Anwaar-ul-Haq Kakar on Friday instructed Pakistan’s ambassadors in the United States and the United Kingdom to explore new opportunities for international economic collaborations.

During a meeting with Pakistan Ambassador Masood Khan in the US and Ambassador Dr. Muhammad Faisal in the UK, the premier asked them to continuous promotion of the Kashmir cause and Pakistan’s stance on the Palestine issue.

The envoys provided updates on the performance of their respective missions, receiving instructions from the prime minister on Pakistan’s foreign policy.

Prime Minister Kakar also urged the envoys to conduct road shows to attract foreign investment for projects initiated under the Special Investment Facilitation Council (SIFC).

Recognizing overseas Pakistanis as a national asset, Prime Minister Kakar directed the Pakistani missions to address expatriate issues promptly. Moreover, he encouraged the ambassadors to persuade the Pakistani diaspora to invest their capital in Pakistan.
