DAVOS: Pakistan Caretaker Prime Minister Anwaar-ul-Haq Kakar called for technology for all to ensure access to technology for all nations.

Speaking at the Trade Tech’s Trillion Dollar Promise meeting organized by the World Economic Forum in Davos on Wednesday, the premier highlighted that such inclusivity is essential for less affluent nations to harness the advancements of 21st-century science.

The Prime Minister pointed out the disparity that arises when strategic competition in technology excludes a significant portion of the global population. He emphasized the importance of addressing this issue, noting that strategic competition often overshadows economic competition.

In his remarks, the Prime Minister underscored how the pursuit of dominance can stifle human creativity and curiosity, hindering the potential for technological growth. Anwaar-ul-Haq Kakar stressed the necessity of overcoming this obstacle to foster innovation and progress in the technological landscape.

Furthermore, he called on the private sector to play a leading role in promoting the dissemination of information about innovative technologies. The Prime Minister encouraged active participation from private enterprises to facilitate the widespread adoption of advancements, ensuring that the benefits of technology reach all corners of the world.
