Pakistan PM Receives Congratulatory Phone Call from Saudi Crown Prince

ISLAMABAD: Pakistan’s Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif has received a congratulatory telephone call from the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia’s (KSA) Crown Prince and Prime Minister Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, official media reported on Saturday. According to APP, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister congratulated Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif on his re-election.

Shehbaz thanked the Crown Prince and Prime Minister Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud for the telephone call as well as the warm message of greetings the Crown Prince and Prime Minister had sent immediately after he had assumed office.

Shehbaz Sharif also conveyed his sincerest wishes and prayers for the health and well-being of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz, APP reported.  He said the people of Pakistan had great love and respect for the Saudi King and the Crown Prince and Prime Minister.

Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif also wished a blessed month of Ramadan to the Saudi leadership as well as the people and prayed that this holy month of Ramadan would bring peace and prosperity to Muslims across the world. The PM lauded the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA) for its unwavering commitment and support to Pakistan, APP maintained.

Pakistan’s Prime Minister reiterated his invitation to the Crown Prince and Prime Minister to undertake an official visit to Pakistan at his earliest convenience and said that the people of Pakistan were waiting to accord him a very warm welcome.

APP reported that Crown Prince and Prime Minister Mohammed bin Salman thanked Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif for his kind sentiments and said that both nations enjoyed close brotherly ties and reaffirmed Saudi Arabia’s support to Pakistan.
