ISLAMABAD: Pakistan and Turkiye have affirmed the robust relationship between their armed forces and pledged to deepen defence cooperation further.
Commander of the Turkish Land Forces General Selcuk Bayraktaroglu called on Pakistan Defence Minister Khawaja Asif here in Islamabad on Tuesday. During the meeting, they agreed to strengthen defence cooperation.
The defence minister expressed contentment with the mutual understanding of regional and global geopolitical dynamics. He also commended Turkey’s unwavering support for Pakistan across various international platforms.
Khawaja Asif emphasized that bolstered defence collaboration stands as a pivotal aspect of the bilateral relationship, characterized by joint ventures, collaborative exercises, and military training initiatives.
