Pakistan: Two Martyred Soldiers Laid to Rest with Full Military Honors

RAWALPINDI: The nation bid a solemn farewell to Major Saqib Hussain Shaheed and Naik Baqir Ali Shaheed, two brave soldiers of the Pakistan Army who made the ultimate sacrifice while courageously battling terrorists in the Hoshab area of Balochistan, Inter-Service Public Relations (ISPR) said a press release.

According to ISPR, funeral prayers for the Shaheeds were first offered in Turbat and later in their respective hometowns.

Pakistan Army Committed to Ensure Security of Motherland

Major Saqib Hussain, aged 31 and a resident of Sanghar district in Sindh province, and Naik Baqir Ali, aged 26 and a resident of Dadu district, were laid to rest with utmost respect and full military honor. The ISPR reiterated the deep commitment of the Pakistan Army in ensuring the defense of the motherland, regardless of the challenges faced.

The funerals were attended by a significant number of people, including senior serving and retired officers, soldiers, relatives, and members of the local communities who came to pay their respects to the fallen heroes. The outpouring of support and solidarity demonstrated the nation’s recognition and appreciation for the sacrifice made by these valiant soldiers in the line of duty.
