Pakistan-US Navies Joint Exercise Held in Karachi

KARACHI: The joint bilateral exercise of the Pakistan Navy (PN) and US Navy “Inspired Union 2024” was organized in Karachi.

The aim of the exercise was to enhance ties and interoperability between the Navies of the two countries through the mutual exchange of professional experience and expertise in the maritime domain.

The Officers and personnel of the United States Marine Corps, Coast Guards, Explosive Ordnance Disposal, Diving, Legal, Naval Construction Force, Civil Affairs and Medical teams participated in the exercise, according to Radio Pakistan.

Commander of CTF-52 also called on Commander Pakistan Fleet and Commander Coast during the drills. Matters related to mutual interest in the maritime domain came under discussion.

The conduct of drills “Inspired Union” is a regular feature between the Pakistan Navy and the United States Navy.

Drills Manifestation of Pakistan-US Ties

The exercise is a manifestation of strong bilateral military ties between the Pakistan Navy and the US Navy aimed at promoting a safe and sustainable maritime environment in the region.

The drills also proved mutually rewarding to hone the professional skills of participating personnel from both navies and learn from each other’s experiences.
