Pakistan, Vietnam Vows to Enhance Economic Cooperation

ISLAMABAD: Pakistan’s Ambassador to Vietnam Samina Mehtab paid a farewell visit to Vietnam President Vo Van Thuong in Hanoi, local media reported on Wednesday. During the meeting, they reviewed the bilateral relations, with a special focus on economic cooperation and political ties.

Ambassador Samina Mehtab conveyed the Government of Pakistan’s keen interest in enhancing bilateral relations with Vietnam across various sectors. She outlined proposals for collaboration spanning political ties, trade, and parliamentary exchanges.

President Vo Van Thuong extended congratulations to the Ambassador for her successful tenure and acknowledged the positive bilateral relations between the two nations. He also affirmed Vietnam’s commitment to collaborating with Pakistan to advance the relations between the two sides.

President Vo Van Thuong also extended an invitation for the President of Pakistan to visit Vietnam in the near future, highlighting the mutual desire to strengthen ties between the two nations.
