LONDON: The Pakistan Women’s Cricket Team has arrived in London for their upcoming ODI and T20 series against England. The team Pakistan was warmly received by Pakistan’s High Commissioner to the UK, Dr. Muhammad Faisal, at London Heathrow Airport on Sunday.
Led by captain Nida Dar, the 17-member team, during their trip, will play three One-Day International and three T20 matches against England.
Speaking on the occasion, Pakistan’s High Commissioner Dr. Muhammad Faisal expressed his pride in women’s cricket team, saying that they are a main source of inspiration for the entire nation. Dr Faisal said that they are proud of their young women flying the Pakistani flag high at global arena.”
The Ambassador also extended his best wishes to the team for their outstanding performance during the tour.
