BEIJING: Fahad Iqbal Butt, Director of New Genuine Auto Parts, emphasized the potential benefits for Pakistan through collaboration with Chinese companies in the rapidly advancing field of automotive technologies.
Speaking at the Automechanika Shanghai 2023 event, being held from November 29 to December 2, Butt expressed optimism about Pakistan leveraging China’s leadership in advanced automotive technologies.
With a focus on enhancing the presence of Pakistani companies in China and forging new partnerships, Butt sees the expo as a valuable platform to connect with potential suppliers, manufacturers, and distributors.
He highlighted the impressive growth of the automotive industry in China and underscored the significant potential for cooperation between the two countries.
Having engaged in business with China for nearly two decades and attending the expo for the eighth time, Butt participated in this year’s event intending to develop new items related to agricultural and auto parts, such as filters and bushings.
He also discussed with various Chinese auto companies to explore collaboration opportunities, particularly in parts supply and technology transfer.
Automechanika Shanghai 2023, a globally influential service platform for the automotive industry, showcased automotive parts, repair, testing, diagnostic equipment, and service supplies.
This year’s event, featuring 5,652 exhibitors from 41 countries and regions and drawing visitors from 28 countries and regions, focused on seven product segments spanning 13 showrooms. The emphasis was on innovative technologies and cutting-edge solutions throughout the entire automotive industry chain.
