Pakistani National Tahseen Sayed Appointed Albania’s NEC Member

ISLAMABAD: Albanian Prime Minister Edi Rama has appointed Pakistani national Tahseen Sayed as a member of the National Economic Council, the highest economic policy and advisory forum of Albania.

Tahseen Sayed joined the NEC as an international economic expert.

The NEC’s membership includes key government ministers, the largest private sector taxpayers in the country, business organization representatives, and external economic experts, including reputable academics from Germany and Harvard University in the US.

The NEC – established by law in 2014 – is the forum where consultations and dialogue between the Albanian government and the private sector take place.

Tahseen Sayed, a seasoned development professional, has worked in leadership roles with the World Bank (WB) in South Asia, Latin America, North America, Europe, and the Caribbean.

Tahseen Worked as First Honorary Consul of Albania in Islamabad

Currently, Tahseen is working as an adviser to multilateral agencies on Pakistan’s development priorities. She is also the first Honorary Consul of Albania in Islamabad.
