ISLAMABAD: Former Interior Minister of Pakistan Sheikh Rashid Ahmed has been hospitalized due to health issues, local media reported on Thursday. According to a private TV channel, Sheikh Rashid Ahmed has been shifted to the Rawalpindi Institute of Cardiology for urgent medical treatment. Upon his arrival at the Rawalpindi Institute of Cardiology, a thorough medical examination is scheduled to evaluate the extent of Rashid’s health problems.
Authorities have stated that any decision regarding his return to jail will be made in consultation with medical professionals, underscoring the significance of his health condition in the overall decision-making process.
