ISLAMABAD: Pakistan rupee witnessed a decline of 30 paisa against the American Dollar in the interbank trading on Monday and closed at PKR 284.70 against the previous day’s closing of PKR 284.40.
According to the FAP (Forex Association of Pakistan), the buying and selling rates of the American Dollar in the open market were witnessed at PKR 287.5 and PKR 290, respectively.
Pak Rupee Against Other Currencies
The price of the Euro decreased by PKR 1.67 to close at PKR 313.09 against the last day’s closing of PKR 314.76, according to the State Bank of Pakistan (SBP).
The Japanese Yen witnessed a decline by 02 paisas and stood at PKR 2.12; whereas the British Pound went down by PKR 2.78 was in the exchange rate and was traded at Rs353.72 compared to its last day’s closing of PKR 356.50.
The exchange rate of the Emirates Dirham and Saudi Riyal dipped by 08 paisas each to close at PKR 77.52 and PKR 75.90, respectively.
