Pakistan’s Electric Fan Exports Surge by 4.75 Percent

ISLAMABAD: Pakistan has witnessed a 4.75 percent increase in electric fan exports during the first nine months of the current financial year compared to the correspondent period last fiscal year.

According to data from the Pakistan Bureau of Statistics (PBS), electric fan exports totaled US $19.760 million from July to March (2023-24), compared to US $18.864 million during the same period in (2022-23), marking a 4.75 percent growth.

Quantity-wise, fan exports also saw a significant surge of 20.48 percent, rising from 1,085 thousand to 1,307 thousand.

In March 2024, electric fan exports increased by 11.61 percent compared to March of the previous year. Export earnings for fans in March 2024 were recorded at $3.908 million, up from $3.501 million in March 2023.

Moreover, March 2024 showed a month-on-month increase of 30.70 percent in electric fan exports, compared to February 2024’s exports totaling $2.990 million, as per PBS data.
