Pakistan’s Minister Optimistic About Saudi Arabia’s Trade Cooperation

ISLAMABAD: Pakistan’s Petroleum Minister, Musadik Malik, emphasized the government’s dedication to steering the country’s economy towards a growth trajectory.

Addressing a press briefing in Lahore on Saturday, the minister underscored the administration’s proactive measures to stimulate economic growth, including the invitation extended to foreign companies to invest across various sectors in Pakistan.
Malik commended the interest exhibited by Saudi Arabia in exploring opportunities in diverse fields in the country.

Expressing optimism, he expected fruitful discussions between Pakistani and Saudi businessmen visiting Pakistan on Sunday, aimed at fostering mutual cooperation and enhancing trade facilitation between the two nations.

Highlighting Pakistan’s vast potential for investment, particularly in the copper and mining sectors, Malik emphasized the government’s commitment to creating a conducive environment for investors.

Furthermore, he outlined the government’s ongoing efforts to narrow the gap between imports and exports, with the objective of reducing the trade deficit and bolstering economic stability.
