ZURICH: Pakistan’s Caretaker Prime Minister Anwaar-ul-Haq Kakar has landed in Switzerland to participate in the 54th annual meeting of the World Economic Forum (WEF), which is scheduled to commence tomorrow.
Upon his arrival in Zurich, PM Kakar was warmly welcomed by Pakistan’s Ambassador to Switzerland, Amir Shaukat; Pakistan’s Permanent Representative to Geneva, Bilal Ahmed; and senior diplomatic officials.
PM Kakar’s Engagements at World Economic Forum
During his participation in the WEF meeting, Prime Minister Kakar is set to engage in three crucial thematic events, focusing on topics such as “Preventing an Era of Global Conflicts,” “Restoring Faith in the Global System,” and “Preventing Economic Fracture.”

The Prime Minister will deliver a keynote address on the theme ‘Trade, Tax, Trillion-Dollar Promise.’ This address will shed light on Pakistan’s perspectives and strategies regarding international trade, taxation policies, and economic promises.
In addition to these engagements, Prime Minister Kakar is expected to hold crucial meetings with both government and business leaders on the sidelines of the World Economic Forum. These interactions aim to foster diplomatic and economic ties and provide a platform for discussions on shared global challenges and opportunities.
