Pakistan’s President Offers Condoles to UAE President Over Demise of Key Member

ISLAMABAD: Pakistan’s President Asif Ali Zardari on Thursday offered condolences to the President of the United Arab Emirates (UAE) Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan on the death of a key official and a member of the royal family Sheikh Tahnoun bin Mohamed Al Nahyan.

“Deeply saddened at the demise of the Representative of the UAE’s Ruler in Al Ain Sheikh Tahnoun bin Mohamed Al Nahyan. I express my condolences to the UAE’s leadership,” the president said in a message issued by the President House.

He said Sheikh Tahnoun bin Mohamed Al Nahyan played an important role in shaping the legacy of the UAE.
Sheikh Tahnoun bin Mohamed Al Nahyan was Abu Dhabi’s ruler representative in Al Ain. He prayed to Allah Almighty to grant eternal peace for the departed soul.
