PESHAWAR: Pakistan’s security forces on Wednesday killed six terrorists in two separate operations in northwestern Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province, the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) stated in a press release.
According to ISPR, on May 8, six terrorists were sent to hell by security forces in two separate operations. An intelligence-based operation was conducted in the Dera Ismail Khan district on the reported presence of terrorists. During the conduct of the operation, five terrorists were successfully neutralized by the security forces and sent to hell, ISPR stated.
In another fire exchange in North Waziristan district, security forces effectively engaged the terrorists’ location as a result of which another terrorist Inam Ullah was sent to hell, ISPR stated.
“Weapons, ammunition and explosives were also recovered from the killed terrorists, who remained actively involved in numerous terrorist activities against the security forces as well as innocent civilians,” ISPR stated.
Sanitization operation is being carried out to eliminate any other terrorist found in the area as Pakistan’s security forces are determined to wipe out the menace of terrorism from the country, ISPR maintained.
