Palestinian President, Slovenian Foreign Minister Discuss Gaza Developments

RAMALLAH: Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas and Slovenia’s Foreign Minister Tanja Fajon on Sunday discussed the latest developments on the Palestinian scene and the ongoing Israeli aggression on the Gaza Strip.

According to Qatari state media, the two leaders also exchanged views on the efforts made to bring humanitarian and medical aid to war-hit Gaza.

During the meeting, the Palestinian President talked about the dangerous Israeli escalation in the West Bank and the continued crimes of colonists.

He also briefed the visiting foreign minister about the violation of Islamic and Christian sanctities, especially in the city of Jerusalem.

Mahmoud Abbas during the meeting touched on the efforts of the State of Palestine to obtain full membership in the United Nations, and the significance of obtaining more recognition of the State of Palestine from nations countries that have not done so.
