PCB Chairman Says PSL is Pakistan’s Identity

ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) Chairman Mohsin Naqvi said on Wednesday that the Pakistan Super League (PSL) is the identity of Pakistan.

He said that suggestions would always be welcomed in making this extravaganza better and greater.

The HBL PSL franchise owners and representatives called on Chairman PCB Naqvi here at a local hotel and congratulated him for assuming the post.

The franchise owners also congratulated him for successfully organizing the first phase of the PSL matches in Multan and Lahore.

Naqvi thanked them for their continued support in making the event a brand. He said that PSL is the identity of Pakistan and the suggestions by franchise owners to make it better and greater will always be welcomed. The feasible proposals would be carried out for the promotion of cricket, he added.

PCB Chief Operating Officer (COO) Salman Naseer, League Commissioner Naila Bhatti, and PSL Director Shoaib Sheikh were also present in the meeting.

Meanwhile, franchises were represented by Atif Rana and Sameen Rana of Lahore Qalandars, Multan Sultans owner Ali Tareen, Nadeem Umar of Quetta Gladiators and Ali Naqvi, owner of Islamabad United.
