LAHORE: The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has swiftly responded to concerns arising from the cancellation of two Pakistan Super League (PSL) matches in Rawalpindi by announcing a proactive and transparent refund process for ticket holders.

In an official statement issued today, the PCB has confirmed that the refund procedure for the cancelled matches will commence on March 12, offering much-needed relief to disappointed fans. The board has assured that refunds will be directly credited to the bank accounts used for ticket purchases, simplifying the process for spectators.

Additionally, the PCB has clarified that tickets obtained through corporate transactions will be refunded exclusively to the respective corporate entities involved, ensuring equitable treatment for all stakeholders.

This decision to refund ticket payments follows the cancellation of the highly anticipated PSL matches due to adverse weather conditions in Rawalpindi. Despite the anticipation surrounding the games, continuous rain made the playing conditions untenable, leading officials to prioritize player safety and the integrity of the matches by calling them off.
