PM Shehbaz Sharif Constitutes Committee to Address BAP’s Reservations

ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif constituted a committee on Friday to address Balochistan Awami Party’s reservations regarding the development projects and problems faced by Balochistan.

The prime minister formed the body as a BAP delegation headed by Senate Chairman Muhammad Sadiq Sanjrani called on him here in Islamabad.

The committee comprised of Senate Chairman Sadiq Sanjrani, , Dr Musaddiq Malik, Azam Nazeer Tarar Maulana Abdul Ghafoor Haidari, Ishaq Dar, Ahsan Iqbal, Agha Hassan Baloch, Khalid Hussain Magsi and Manzoor Kakar.

The PM tasked the committee to hold a detailed and wide-ranging consultation and present a report within a week.

In the meeting, the BAP delegation decided to take part in the budget session and showed its full support to the government.

The premier said that BAP, being a key coalition partner, played an important role in every decision-making of the government.

He said that the development of Balochistan could not be carried out without BAP’s valueable input and that the progress of the country was linked with the Balochistan province.

Sanjrani lauds PM Shehbaz Sharif’s efforts

Sanjrani lauded the prime minister for his keen interest and special steps for the uplift of the province of Balochistan.

Law Minister Azam Nazeer Tarar, Senator Naseebullah Bazai, and BAP Parliamentary Leader Khalid Hussain Magsi also attended the meeting.
