PM Shehbaz Visits Pakistan Army’s Martyred Officer’s Residence, Offers Condolences

TALAGANG: Pakistan’s Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif visited the home of Captain Ahmed Badar Shaheed on Monday. Captain Ahmed Badar Shaheed embraced martyrdom in a terrorist attack in northwest Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province on Saturday. 

During the visit, the premier offered his heartfelt condolences and expressed sympathy to the bereaved family.

Earlier in the day, the Prime Minister also visited the residence of Lt. Colonel Syed Kashif Ali Shaheed in Rawalpindi to offer his sincere condolences to the bereaved family.

He prayed for eternal peace for the martyrs and strength for their families to cope with the loss. Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif praised the brave soldiers and officers of the Pakistan Army for sacrificing their lives to protect the nation.

He said that the entire nation, including himself, honors and respects their sacrifices, stating that the families of martyrs are a source of pride for the nation.

Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif reiterated the nation’s unwavering support for the armed forces until terrorism is completely eradicated. He was accompanied by Defence Minister Khawaja Muhammad Asif and Information Minister Attaullah Tarar during the visit.

At least seven security personnel including two officers embraced martyrdom during a terrorist attack on the security forces’ post in the North Waziristan district of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa in the early hours of on Saturday, said a statement from ISPR.
