PM Visits Dasu to Hold Meeting with Chinese Engineers

SLAMABAD: Pakistan’s Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif will hold a meeting with Chinese engineers at Dasu Dam project today. He will hold the meeting during his visit to Dasu.  The purpose of the meeting is to express condolences and solidarity with the Chinese engineers and workers affected by the tragic incident in Bisham.

Additionally, the Prime Minister will discuss immediate and clear measures to enhance the security of Chinese citizens working on the project. Following the terrorist incident in Bisham, the Prime Minister issued directives for the implementation of stringent security measures to safeguard the lives of Chinese nationals. This demonstration of solidarity and commitment underscores the strong bilateral relationship between Pakistan and China, particularly in infrastructure projects such as Dasu Dam.
