PMD Forecasts Dry Weather in Several Parts of Pakistan

ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Meterological Department (PMD) has predicted mainly dry weather across most parts of the country in the next twelve hours.

However, it forecasts partly cloudy skies with the chance of rain, windstorms, and thunderstorms in several areas of upper Punjab, upper Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Islamabad, Gilgit-Baltistan, and Kashmir. South Punjab and upper Sindh may experience gusty winds and windstorms in the next twelve hours.

This morning’s temperatures in major cities were recorded as follows:

Islamabad: 19°C

Lahore: 25°C

Karachi: 28°C

Peshawar: 20°C

Quetta: 16°C

Gilgit: 14°C

Murree: 12°C

Muzaffarabad: 15°C.

In Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir, expect cloudy weather with chances of rain, wind, and thunderstorms in Srinagar, Jammu, Leh, Pulwama, Anantnag, Shopian, and Baramula. Morning temperatures in this region were recorded as Srinagar, Pulwama, and Anantnag 12°C, Jammu 26°C, Leh 3°C, Shopian 11°C, and Baramula 13°C.
