ISLAMABAD: In a rare display of democratic maturity, several prominent politicians in Pakistan have gracefully accepted their defeat in the recent elections and extended congratulations to the opposition candidates who emerged victorious.
While the election results have sparked controversy and discontent among some representatives, the actions of these politicians have been widely appreciated by the public.
Among those who have humbly conceded defeat is former Minister of Railway, Khwaja Saad Rafique, who acknowledged the success of his opponent Independent Candidate Sardar Latif Khosa with grace and generousness.

Similarly, Samar Haroon Bilour candidate from Awami National Party (ANP), expressed her respect for the electoral process and congratulated and presented bouquet of flowers to her rival Meena Khan Afridi an Independent Candidate for securing the win in their respective constituency.
