ISLAMABAD: To satisfy your hunger and sweet cravings, let’s try this refreshing Potato and Fruit Salad recipe.
Ingredients:
Boiled Potatoes:
- Water, as needed
- 1 teaspoon of salt
- 2 cups of potato cubes
Fruit & Potato Salad:
- 1 cup of cream
- 1/2 teaspoon of salt
- 1/2 teaspoon of black pepper powder
- 1/4 cup of powdered sugar
- 1/4 cup of chopped almonds
- 1/4 cup of cocktail water
- 2 cups of cube-cut apple
- 2 cups of boiled potato cubes (from the first part)
- 1 cup of fruit cocktail
- 1/4 cup of pomegranate seeds
- 1 cup of sliced banana
- 1 cup of sliced strawberries
Instructions:
- In a pot, bring water to a boil, then add 1 teaspoon of salt. Add the potato cubes and boil for 10-15 minutes or until they are 90% cooked. Strain and allow them to cool at room temperature.
- In a bowl, combine mayonnaise, cream, 1/2 teaspoon of salt, black pepper powder, powdered sugar, chopped almonds, and cocktail water. Mix thoroughly.
- Add the apple, boiled potato cubes, fruit cocktail, pomegranate seeds, banana slices, and strawberry slices to the bowl. Mix everything well.
