KARACHI: The Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX) has reached a new historic landmark today, when it was seen trading at 68,362.35 points at 9:30 AM.
The index opened at Wednesday’s increase of 67,756.03 points and rapidly jumped about 500 points within 15 minutes following the opening. After that the benchmark KSE-100 index started indicating stability and soared within the range of more than 68,000 points.
Earlier on Wednesday, the index increased 870 points. This increase comes as a testament to the resilience observed in the country’s equities market.
