PTDC to Organise ‘Salam Pakistan’ Photography Competition on Dec 11

ISLAMABAD: The Pakistan Tourism Development Corporation (PTDC) is set to host ‘Salam Pakistan’ photography and short tourism documentary film competitions to commemorate International Mountain Day here on December 11.

“Salam Pakistan” is the nation’s official tourism brand, recently inaugurated by the Prime Minister. This competition will encourage filmmakers and storytellers to capture Pakistan’s diverse and breathtaking landscapes, emphasizing the country’s remarkable tourism potential.

The competitions will focus on producing four to five-minute documentaries and photography highlighting various aspects such as culture and mountain heritage, the lifestyle of mountain communities, captivating mountain scenery, and mountain adventure and sports.

Winners of these competitions will receive cash prizes and awards during the sustainable tourism conference. According to the details, selected images will be showcased on a banner at the Pakistan National Council of Arts in Islamabad to mark World Mountain Day.
