ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leader and member of National Assembly Sher Afzal Marwat’s car met with an accident on Sunday; however, he and his colleagues fortunately remained unharmed.
Sher Afzal Marwat was travelling from Dera Ismail Khan to Islamabad when this incident happened, according to media reports.
The Motorway Police said that the accident occurred due to the bursting of two tyres of the vehicle.

The outspoken politician has been associated with PTI since 2018. In the 2024 general elections, he was elected as a member of the National Assembly by securing 117,996 Votes.
He defeated JUI-F candidate Maulana Asjad Mahmood, son of Maulana Fazal-ur-Rehman, by a heavy margin of 45,311 votes.
