London: Britain’s Queen Camilla has said that her husband King Charles who is receiving treatment for cancer was doing very well.

She made the remarks while greeting crowds on a visit to Northern Ireland on Thursday.

since January Charles has been absent from public appearances as he undergoes treatment for an unspecified form of cancer, leaving Camilla and Prince William to be engaging with the public representing the royal family.

Camilla, 76, while interreacting with the public in Belfast, received a card by a schoolgirl wishing King Charles well. The Queen while thanking the girl said that her husband will be delighted.

Camilla and William have been meeting people and carrying out charity for a week. Another key player of the royal family, Kate Middleton, the Princess of Wales, is facing a health problem and out of the public since January.

Kate is not expected to return to her official duties until March 31, after an abdominal surgery in January.

Britain’s data watchdog on Wednesday said it was looking into a report that staff at the London hospital where she was received the treatment had tried to access her private health records.

Last month Camilla said Charles was doing extremely well under the current circumstances.
