Ramadan Festivities Kick Off at Lok Virsa with ‘Maah-e-Isar O Aman’

ISLAMABAD: The National Institute of Folk and Traditional Heritage, Lok Virsa, commenced its Ramadan festivities titled ‘Maah-e-Isar O Aman’ on Thursday. The event, which will run until Eid, features a range of activities to celebrate the holy month.

Each day, starting from 5 PM, the festivities will include Tilawat and Naat competitions, offering spiritual reflections and devotional performances. Additionally, cultural food stalls will be set up from 5 PM onwards, providing attendees with a taste of traditional cuisine.

Highlighting the significance of the event, Executive Director of Lok Virsa, Uzair Khan, expressed delight in organizing an enriching program that celebrates the beauty of Ramadan. He also mentioned an Islamic calligraphy exhibition, catering to art enthusiasts.

This initiative by Lok Virsa aims to promote cultural and spiritual engagement during Ramadan, fostering a sense of community and reverence for the holy month.
